Aloha and E Komo Mai!!! USS has 46!

USS is proud to announce Randy Ramirez as the Hawaii Rep and #46 to join the revolution! Randy is the Owner/Head Coach at Kilos & Kilts, Not Your Average CrossFit.

Randy started doing CrossFit with his daughter in 2010 after her diagnosis of Scoliosis. She needed to strengthen her back and Randy was there to support her. While Jessi loved the Olympic lifting Randy remembered watching the Strongman Competitions when he was young and found more enjoyment doing that. He immediately took on the challenge of improving himself. He has always loved testing his strength within his profession of Concrete Mason, he is good at lifting odd objects and this was what he chose to focus his efforts on. He could see how Strongman training benefited a strength and conditioning regimen and started to study how the two could work together. Working hard to improve his knowledge and skills he has put the to the test in one CrossFit competition and two Strongman competitions here on the Big Island.

Randy has obtained his CrossFit Level 1 certification, USAW Level 1 certification, StrongFit Certification and most recently competed in the week-long Coaches training week with Julien Pinot.

It is Randy’s goal to promote this sport of Strongman while teaming up with local non-profit charities and hosting events in Hawaii.

Welcome to the Revolution!
