The Strongest Southern Belle: There is Great Beauty in Strength!

First Ever “Strongest Southern Belle” Competition Coming to Cynthiana, Kentucky

The strongest ladies in Kentucky and surrounding states will meet in Cynthiana, KY on Saturday, February 28 beginning at 11:00 a.m. to decide who will take home the title of “Strongest Southern Belle”. This competition is the first of its kind in the country as an all female United States Strongman sanctioned event and is being promoted by veteran strongman competitor and USS Kentucky State Rep, Robby McCann.

Events for the day will include Log/Axle Press Medley, Farmer’s Walk, Tire Flip Medley, Progressive Deadlift, Harness Pull, and Atlas Stones. Novice and Open Amateur divisions with multiple weight classes will be available. Trophies will be awarded in first, second, and third places for each weight class. This competition is also a qualifier for the 2015 USS Nationals.

Admission for spectators is $5 and children ages 6 and under are free. The deadline to register as a competitor is Friday, February 13. Late registration will be available for an additional fee. Sponsorships are available for individuals, organizations, and businesses.

The Strongest Southern Belle will take place at the Cynthiana National Guard Armory, 350 New Lair Road and entry forms and fees may be found at unitedstatesstrongman.com.
