My name is Cody Russell and I am the United States Strongman, Inc. State Representative for Louisiana. I have competed in strongman for 3 years, hosted strongman clinics and promoted a contest in Louisiana. I started lifting 6 years ago, after a 10 year bull riding career. When I started I was 165 pounds, now at 6’5”, I am 300 pounds.
I train out of God's Powerhouse Gym in Oak Grove, Louisiana and I am sponsored by Max Muscle Sports Nutrition! When I travel for work, I get the chance to train all over the country.
I have a strong passion for strongman and training and I’m always here to help anyone get started. My goal is to bring great contests to the state of Louisiana.
