Adam Derks has been competing with USS all over the World, training amazing USS Champions, and promoting USS shows nearly since the beginning! And now, Adam is bringing his skill and talent to the ranks a State Representatives!
Adam was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin and that is where he currently resides with his wife and their two dogs. He began competing in powerlifting and strongman at the young age of 14, thanks to his brothers who got him into it and he has not quit since. Adam has built his way up from local shows to some of the top shows in the world, through his hard work, determination, and dedication to the sport of Strongman.
Adam most recently competed in the World Deadlift Championships (Leeds, UK) in July 2016, the Arnold Australia Pro Show in March 2017, ISF1 in Texas, June 2017, & Giant Live in Indiana, July 2017 (qualifying him for WSM 2018). Adam is driven to succeed in everything he sets his mind to and he will continue to push his limits in order to be his very best. Adam is a very well rounded strongman athlete, not to mention an excellent dead lifter. This is just the beginning of the dreams that Adam strives to fulfill and it is safe to say that the future possesses many opportunities that he will continue to work for.
