Your United States Strongman is always proud to have our brave men and women that have served in the Armed Forces compete. We are especially proud when they assume leadership roles! We would like to welcome Easton Taylor as the Co-Rep for the great state of Arizona! That is right folks, two Marines in AZ!
Here is a little more form Easton!
My name is Easton Taylor and I have been competing in strongman for eight years. During those eights years I have competed in 52 shows throughout the Nation. I live in Phoenix, Az and train out of Pritchett Power Gym with Jerry Pritchett and Arizona U.S.S. State Chairman Eric Patterson. I compete in the 242's but I do like to mix it up with the Super Heavyweights. Throughout my 52 shows I have competed in some bad shows, and I have competed in some great shows.
I believe with my knowledge and the people I surround myself in strongman, only great shows are going to be coming out of Arizona in the future. Couple of Strongman Accomplishments: 2012 - Copper State Strongest Man - 1st (231's) 2013 - Arizona Strongest Man - 2nd (231's) 2015 - Northern Nevada's Strongest Man - 1st (HW) 2015 - Southwestern Strongest Man - 1st (HW) 2015 - Nevada's Strongest Man - 2nd (242's) 2016 - SBD Log Lift and Deadlift Championship - 3rd (HW) 2016 - U.S.S. National Championships - 3rd (242's) 2016 - The Great Ape Strongman Challenge - 1st (HW).
Before strongman I served as a Corporal in The United States Marine Corps. I was a 0331 Infantry Machine Gunner with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines. For a living I am a Corporate Executive Chef for Compass Group North America. So technically I am "America's Strongest Chef". I will continue to keep training and competing at the National Level, while doing my best to help grow the sport of strongman.
Semper Fi, Easton. Welcome to the Revolution!
