While the folks from United States Strongman have been promoting strongman events longer than almost anyone, the new federation is seeing a lot of "firsts" in it's innagural year of business. Veteran promoter Tony Soucie is hosting Illinois Strongest Man on September 26, 2015 at the Manteno Okotberfest. Soucie, founder of ILSA, hosted the event last year to rave reviews of fans and athletes alike.
"The show was a great success last year and we are excited to have Tony and his crew back!" said United States Strongman president, Willie Wessels.
