The Prez Speaks: Thirty-One Years of Competition and Counting!

This is my 31st year of competition. This year is much sweeter. I am retiring from public education. After 30 years it is time to move on to the next chapter in my life.

That next chapter is strongman full time. We have done so much in the past two year with USS. I am excited to see just how far we can go. Now I will have time to travel with US competitors to Ireland, Norway and much more. I am here to help grow this sport.

As for this past Saturday I had a blast competing with fifty awesome people from all over the midwest. I witnessed several record lifts and PR's for many others. John Albrecht knows how to host a contest with style.

To all my Master brothers who competed you guys are the best. Thank you to all of you for your support of United States Strongman. This would not be possible without great promoters and great competitors.
